Hey there friends! I’m so grateful that you’re here!
I’m Jessica, and I’m the mama bird of this “nest.” I’m a born and raised Midwesterner, a wife and a mother to that crazy little crew you see over there to the left 
. I met that handsome bearded man when I was a pharmacy student on rotation at the military base he was stationed at. He was in charge of my training during my time there, and what do you know, here we are almost 12 years later doing life together. Three kids, a dog and now on our second house that I love making into our home.
As you can imagine, our lives are full of chaos with three little nuggets. Coffee flows freely behind these walls, yoga pants are a staple, and the top knot is my best friend. I work full time as a registered pharmacist, and I truly enjoy my job, but I’ve always had a love for home decor and DIY. Over the past few years I’ve discovered that my heart has been pushing me to make this little hobby of mine more of a focus. Finding time to make beautiful things is my creative outlet, and my head is always spinning with new ideas. The Martin Nest was born out of this inner desire to create beautiful things and spaces. Being able to bring my visions to life and share them with you makes my heart so happy. I hope you’ll stick around as I share my DIY & organization projects with a side of real life as a working. I also tend to throw in a whole lot of fun and humor (with a dose of sarcasm here and there).
